How to: Send Media Files through Chat

You can send media files as a URL through chat to your participants. This sends a web link that the participant will click on to view the file. This option does not require MMS to be enabled on your account, for more information about MMS visit: How to: Send and Receive Images in Chat.
Note:  The Media option must be enabled on an account prior to use. Please reach out to Teletask staff to enable this feature.

  1. Add the Media file you want to send.

  2. Click on Chats   in the top menu bar.

  3. Browse or Search for the client that will receive the media file. You can search by name or phone number.



  4. To add the media file, click on the Media Attachment icon . Hover over Choose existing and select the media file that you want to send.



  5. The link for the media file's URL will appear in the chat. You can then choose Send or Send + Close to send the link to your client.
    Note: The participant will need to click on the URL link in order to view the file.
