How To: Record a Voice Script

When sending voice messages, you have the option to use either Text To Speech or Voice Recording. Before you get started, first find a quiet area where you can record without significant outside noise.


  1. Within the Contents section of a Message, select the Start or Edit option under Voice.



  2. Change the Audio Type to Voice Recording.

  3. Under Step 2. Create Message click Record Message.

  5. In the Voice Message Setup dialog box that appears, enter your 10 digit phone number in the Connect to your Phone box.



  6. Click Call Now to Record Script   when you are ready to have the system call you and record your messages.

  7. Answer the call from our system and listen to the prompts on your phone. You will have two options:

    Recording all script components one at a time

    - or -

    Pressing the number for each script component and recording it individually. If it is a simple message you may only need to record one message.

  8. Note: When the message is recorded, the status will change to Recorded. After recording a message, you can also follow the message prompts to listen to your recording and re-record if needed.

  9. Once you have completed your recordings choose Save and Close  . The recording is now ready to be used when you send out your next message.
