How To Update the Teletask Transfer Client


The Teletask Transfer Client is the application installed on either your local desktop or server that sends the files to your Teletask Portal. Periodically the Teletask Transfer Client will need to be updated in order to utilize the most advanced settings and configurations.
Note: Not every configuration utilizes the Transfer Client.

In order to update the Teletask Transfer Client please follow the steps below.
  1. Double click on the Transfer Client shortcut icon on your desktop to open the Teletask Transfer Client.



    - OR -

    In the System Tray, click on the ^ icon next to the Time and Date. Select the Transfer Client icon in the slide out panel.



  2. The Transfer Client window will open on the lower right-hand side of your screen. Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner and select Update from the drop-down menu.



  3. An Update window will appear. In answer to the question Update this program now? choose Yes.



  4. Windows User Access Control may appear to validate the changes by asking:  Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? select Yes.

    Depending on your permission level, you may be prompted to provide your Administrative Username and Password.

  5. Press Install  in the Setup - Teletask Transfer window that appears.



  6. Once the installation is finished, the progress window will disappear.

  7. To verify your release date and version number: in the Teletask Transfer select the gear icon and choose About.



  8. The latest version of the application is 3.180 released on 5/18/2021.
