How to: Set-up Out of Office Auto-Response for Chat


An Out of Office Auto-Response allows you to configure an auto response to send when the Office or Clinic is closed or when responses are received outside of normal working business hours. To learn more about creating an Out of Office Auto-Response, please follow the steps below.

  1. Click Settings  in the top menu bar.

  2. Choose Chat  as your Setting type.

  3. Check the box for Set Out of Office Auto-Response.



  4. Optional: Check the box for Setable by Clinic Name. Choose your clinic from the drop-down menu for Select Clinic Name.
    Note: An Out of Office Auto-Response can be set for each clinic/office location or for your entire organization.



  5. In the Auto Response text box, type the message you would like the recipient to receive.



  6. Under the Auto Responses Times section, select the Before and After time for each day of the week. If you would like the response sent all day check the All Day box.


  7. Select Update  to finalize your changes.
