How To: Send Link to Upload Documents in Chat
Customizable links can be sent to participants to request for information. These unique links are sent through chat and are used to request a list of things such as proof of identification, pregnancy status, or proof of wages. This feature allows for Users to select from list of preset documents that may be needed from a particular participant.
Please follow the steps below to send a Link from chat to request documents:
- Log-in to: https://hms.teletask.com/, your email address is your username.
- Click on Chats
in the top menu bar.
- Click on
to start a new chat message.
- In the To: Type the name or phone number of your contact enter the 10 digit phone number of the participant.
How to: Add a New Contact through Chat- To send the custom survey, first click on the Send Survey icon
, then click the name of the custom survey you wish to send:
- The window for your custom survey choices will appear, select the documents you wish to request from your participant, then click either the Create Link button if you wish to add more to the message, or click Create+Send if you wish to send the survey link without a unique message:
- The participant will receive a message with their custom survey link:
- They will click the link to open the survey, where they can then upload the requested files.
Note: Participants will need to upload a unique file per piece of information requested, they cannot be combined into a single file.- Received attachments will appear in the participant's chat window, typically with an image preview. Click on the attachment to open options for the file.
