How to: Schedule and Edit Automated Opt Out Reports

The Opt Out report type is a report of participants who have texted STOP or pressed 9 to opt out, as well as those who have texted START to opt in to messaging over a specified time period. The scheduling option automatically runs a report on a recurring bases.

Schedule a Opt Out Report
  1. Log in to: https://hms.teletask.com.

  2. Click Reports  in the top menu bar.

  3. Select Opt-Outs  as the report type.

  4. Optional: Limit the report results by participants that belong to a particular Location Name, or choose All locations to include all participants.

    WarningNote: The Location cannot be changed once the scheduled report is created.



  5. Press Schedule Report .

  6. In the Schedule Report dialog box, enter the Report Name.



  7. Select the Schedule to run for the previous day (each day) as Daily, previous week (once a week) as Weekly, or previous month (once a month) as Monthly.



  8. Enter the Start Date & Time, which will be the basis for the report's generation schedule.



  9. Add the End Date for the report. If left blank, the report will automatically end one year after the start date.



  10. Optional: Check the box for the SFTP Outbox to allow the report files to be available to download through an SFTP file transfer client. The reports will be stored in an Outbox folder.

  11. Optional: Pick the Users to receive an Email of the report results. Reports are automatically available under the Automated Reports tab.



  1. Click Save  to finalize the selections. The report will run on the provided Start Date & Time


View Automated Opt Out Report History

  1. Select Reports  in the top menu bar and choose Automated  as the report type.

  2. To view the results of a report, select History under the Action heading.



  3. Download the file using the Download Link for a specific day's report.



Edit Automated Opt Out Reports

  1. Select Reports  in the top menu bar and choose Automated as the report type.

  2. To edit the results of a report, select Edit under the Action heading.



  3. Make any needed changesPress the Save  button to finalize the changes for future reports.

Delete Automated Opt Out Reports

  1. Select Reports  in the top menu bar and choose Automated as the report type.

  2. To delete the results of a report, select Delete under the Action heading.



  3. Confirm the deletion of the report by pressing the OK button.
