How to: Create a Chat Report

The Chat report type is a report of incoming or outgoing chat messages for a specified time period. The report can be generated for a particular user's or participant's chat messages.

InfoNote: The Chats must be enabled on an account prior to use. Please reach out to Teletask staff to enable this feature.

Create a Chat Report

  1. Log in to: https://hms.teletask.com.

  2. Click Reports  in the top menu bar.

  3. Select Chats  as the report type.

  4. Optional: Include report results for incoming chat messages by checking or unchecking Incoming Messages.



  5. Optional: Limit the Outgoing Messages report results to a specific User in the dropdown menu, or choose All users. 



  6. Enter the Starting and Ending Date Range for this report.



  7. Optional: Limit the report results to a specific participant by entering their 10-digit phone number in the Results for Contact box. 



  8. Optional: Use the Change Report Columns section to select what data will appear in the report.



  9. Click Generate Report  to finish creating the report and view the results.

  10. After the report is generated, scroll down on the Reports page to view the statistical results. Optionally, view or export them as a CSV file  or choose to print them .
