How to: Add Training Files and Videos
Teletask can host training files, videos, or links for ease of access. Conveniently located in the Help menu, this resource keeps all training documents within the Teletask portal. Admins can add new videos or articles that will be visible to their users for reference.
Accessing the Training Files and Videos Page
- Log in to Teletask at http://hms.teletask.com
- In the upper-right corner of the screen, click on the Help menu .
- From the drop-down list select Training Files and Videos.
- On the Training Files page, select View next to the file or link you would like to open.
- The file or link will now display.
Managing Training Files and Links
Admin access is required to manage training files or links.
Add Training Files and Links
- Log in to Teletask at http://hms.teletask.com
- In the upper-right corner of the screen, click on the Help menu .
- From the drop-down list select Training Files and Videos.
- Choose if you would like to add a link or a file.
To Add a Link:
- Press the Add Link button
- Under Link to External Site, insert the URL (website link) to the webpage containing the material to be referenced.
- Under Label, type a description or name of the training materials.
- Click the Add button to add the link to the list of training resources.
- Once added, the link will appear in the list of training documents.
To Add a File:
- Click on the Add Files button.
- The Training Files Upload option will open.
Note: Supported file formats are listed below the upload area, as well as the size limit for a single file (500MB).
- Drag a file into the upload box - or - Click in the field to open the file selection screen. Locate the file you want to upload and choose Open.
- Once the file is added to the upload field, select the Upload button.
- Once uploaded, the file will appear in the list of training documents.
Editing Training File or Link Labels
Note: To edit the existing file or link, you would need to remove it and then re-add the new link or file.
- Locate the training file or link you are wanting to relabel.
- Click the edit icon next to the label.
- Type the new label for the file and press Update .
- A confirmation notification will appear and the label will be updated.
Removing Training Files or Links
- Locate the training file or link you are wanting to remove.
- Press the Delete option to the right of the file.
Note: If you do not see a delete option, it means the file was added by the Teletask Support Team and you will need to reach out for assistance with removing the file by emailing: support@teletask.com or calling 888-484-9911 option 3 for Support.
Example of a Teletask Support Team added file:
- Choose OK to confirm that you want to delete the file.
- A confirmation notification will appear and the file will be removed from the available list.
